Broken Bow, NE- Frances Trotter age 67 of Broken Bow died December 30, 2010 at the Custer Care Center #2 in Broken Bow.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday January 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Frances’ cousin Steve Finney officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. A register book may be signed at Govier Bros. Mortuary.
Frances Trotter was born on April 11, 1943 at Broken Bow, Nebraska to Herman and Ruby (Smith) Trotter. She was the second of six children.
Frances attended school in Broken Bow graduating Valedictorian of the class of 1961.
She received her Master’s Degree majoring in English, from Kearney State College. She was a teacher at Kearney Union College and Weslyn.
Frances moved to Omaha, where she worked at First Data Resources, later moved to Kearney, where she worked for the City of Gibbon until retiring.
She loved gardening, and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
Frances is survived by her four sisters Shirley Trotter, Mary Hendrickson, Linda (Marvin) Johnson, and Phyllis (Harlan) Berghorst all of Broken Bow, and one brother Clifford (Jan) Trotter of Lincoln, NE and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
