Russell E. Moseley

Russell E. Moseley, age 88, of the Grand Island Veterans Home formerly of Broken Bow, Nebraska, died Friday January 7, 2011 at the Grand Island Veterans Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 11th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Todd Karges officiating. Interment will be at the Lone Tree Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Monday from Noon until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the United Methodist Church or the Grand Island Veterans Home. Russell was born May 4, 1922 at Broken Bow, NE to Earl R. and Mary E (Herrick) Moseley. He was married to Ellamae (Spencer). Survivors include his wife Ellamae Moseley of Broken Bow, three sons Steve (Norma) Moseley of York, Jim (Mary) Moseley of Scottsbluff and Brad (Ana) Moseley of Anthony, New Mexico, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two half sisters.
