Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday March 31st at Govier Brothers Mortuary from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Survivors are a daughter Margaret (Steve) Dady of Grand Island, Ne. 2 sons Punch Howard of Julesburg, Co., and Craig Howard of Sterling, Co. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Iris Spanel of Broken Bow, Esther Crisp of Lincoln, and half sister Rosella Ramsey of Colorado Springs, Co. 1 brother Pat (Bertha) Howard of Phoenix, Az and a special companion Bonnie Strumpler. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Georgia, two brothers Vic and Bill, two half sisters Ruby Reveal and Ruth Ramsey, and a grandson.
E. B. Howard was born August 8, 1933 in Milburn, Ne. to Ira and Emma (Tyson) Howard. He attended School around Milburn, Ne. He began ranch and farm work at an early age, On May 26, 1951 E. B. married Georgia Fisher. They made their home near Mason City where they ranched and farmed. He enjoyed camping, hunting, garage sales, and loved his activities with his grandchildren.
