Dorothy has resided in Broken Bow for 50 years. Mom was such a special person and one of my best friends in the world. Mom and I loved to go shopping together, we would tell Dad to work hard because we were going shopping, see ya when we see ya. Dorothy loved to do things with her grandchildren She was active in the Broken Bow Does, Catholic Daughters, and helping anyone that she could. One memory I gave is that when Jim and I were getting married, mom and I went to get the brides maid hat and accessories and we both laughed because we had to make it back to the last few horse races. We didn’t win but sure had fun.
Dorothy and Dad loved to fish, go gambling, and go on special spur of the moment trips. Grandchildren Sami and Tyler made her so proud, there wasn’t a moment that she was not telling someone how special both of them were. and She had such great neighbors, Scott, Claudia, Rebecca, Mike, Kim, Brian, Annie, Gretchen and Steve and their families.
