Broken Bow, NE- Mick Christensen age 80 Broken Bow died Wednesday June 29, 2011 at the Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 2, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow with Reverend Scott Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday July 1, 2011 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Jens Michael “Mick” Christensen was born on November 19, 1930 at Berwyn, NE to Chris and Ogal (Wright) Christensen. He was married to Karen Millsap on October 12, 1958 in Broken Bow. Survivors include his wife Karen of Broken Bow, daughters Susan Christensen of Kearney, and Nancy Christensen of Aliso Viejo, CA, son Mike (Cathy) Christensen of Broken Bow, four grandchildren, two sisters Margaret Beversdorf of Orland Park, IL and Marceil (Jim) Millsap of Berwyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a twin brother Marvin “Marv” Christensen.
