Bob Edelman

Bob Edelman, age 73, of Kansas, formerly of Merna, Ne. died Monday July 18th 2011 at the Shawnee Mission Medical Center, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Funeral services will be Saturday July 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, Ne. with Rev. Doug Jones officiating. Visitation will be Friday noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery at Thedford, Ne. Bob Edelman was born August 25, 1937 in Broken Bow, Ne. to William and Sylvia (Miller) Edelman. Mr. Edelman was a long time music teacher in Anselmo-Merna High School and Sandhills High School. His wife Jeannette E. Edelman died in 1978 battling cancer. Bob Edelman is survived by his daughter Jennifer and husband Kyle Lindelof of Basehor, Kansas, 3 grandchildren Keirsten, Dalton, and Carson. 1 sister Bonnie Kemp of Sargent, Ne.
