Charlotte Esch

Charlotte Ione Esch age 85 of Broken Bow died July 27, 2011 at Jennie Melham Medical Center in Broken Bow. Graveside services will be held Monday August 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the Broken Bow Cemetery with Rev. Michael Laing officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Custer Care Center or Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Charlotte was born January 2, 1926 southwest of Broken Bow on Ash Creek to Bert and Rosa (Deal) Oxford. On January 2, 1947 she married Pete Esch at Broken Bow. Mr. Esch passed away in 2004. Survivors include one son Ted (Cris) Esch of Broken Bow; daughters Patty (Larry) Reed of Ansley and Sonia (Jay) Richeson of Gothenburg; ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren one brother Orville Oxford of Council Bluffs, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, granddaughter LaCosta Esch, sisters, Marie Eggleston, Ruby Glendy, Melva Dunkel, brothers, Clarence Oxford and Lawrence Oxford.
