Dean Robert Lybarger Dean R. Lybarger age 67 of Arcadia died September 26, 2011 at the Grand Island Veteran’s Home in Grand Island. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday September 30, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Arcadia with Rev. Jeff Hale officiating. Inurnment will be in the Lee Park Cemetery with military rites by Arcadia Legion Post 251. Memorials are suggested to American Legion Post 251, Lee Park Cemetery or Family’s choice. Govier Brothers Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Dean was born December 28, 1943 at Ord, Nebraska to Harvey “Roy” and Veronica “Vera” Murray Lybarger. Dean lived his life in Arcadia. He joined the US Army in November 1964 and was honorably discharged in October 1966. He was a member of American Legion Post 251 in Arcadia. He is survived by sister and brother in law MarJo and Marlin Sell of Arcadia, nieces Jolene (Mike) Greenland of Ansley and Sara (Jon) Meier of Mead, NE., nephew Brent Sell of Brunswick, NE., three great nephews Caleb Meier, Caden and Ty Greenland. Good friends Duane and Jo Scott of Arcadia, family, cousins and friends.
