Broken Bow, NE- Bertha Einspahr age 93 of Broken Bow formerly of Brewster, NE die Wednesday October 5, 2011 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 10, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Rev. Ben Eickhoff officiating. Burial will be in the Brewster Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday October 9, 1 PM to 6 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Bertha Einspahr was born on September 1, 1918 at Minot, ND to Carl and Mabel (Myren) Swenson. She moved to Washington State as a young lady. She was married to Lloyd Einspahr on September 13, 1950 at Seattle, Washington. Bertha spent most of her working years as a waitress. In 1994, the couple retired and moved to Dunning, NE. Mr. Einspahr died in 1995. Bertha continued to live in Dunning until November of 2001, when she moved into Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Bertha is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and a brother.
