Pamela Jane Rodocker, 64, of Halsey, died near Halsey December 22, 2011.
She was born June 17, 1947 in Hebron, NE to Robert and Leona Williamson Widler.
She lived in Belvidere, NE, before later moving with her family to Anselmo, NE and then settling in Dunning.
She graduated from Halsey-Dunning High School in 1965 and on Feb. 22, 1969 she married Terry D. Rodocker in Halsey. To this union was born, a daughter, Teena. Pam made Halsey her home there until her death.
She worked several years at Purdum State Bank until retiring. She was also part of helping her husband, Terry, run Rodocker Construction until his death in 2005. She then took over the local mail route which she ran until her death.
She was a very kind and strong person who found a way to endure everything that was given to her in life and always tried to find a positive outlook on the situation.
Pam is survived by her daughter Teena Rodocker-Kucera; son-in-law, Greg Kucera and three grandchildren, Kenzee, Mattee, and Krayton Kucera all of Lawrence, NE; Special Friend, Dave Babcock; brother, Jim (Nellie) Widler of Charlotte, NC; nieces and nephews, Kim (Russ) Rasner and children Bryn and Mason, Scott (Breanna) Widler and daughter Kayla; Tammy (Mig) Loayza and children, Cole and Alex; Louie (Shannon) Casper and daughter Haley. Brother-in-Law, Dennis (Dianne) Rodocker of Halsey; Sister-in-Law, Yolanda (Scott) Spanel of Broken Bow; nieces and nephews, Katie (Kevin) Allard and children, Taylor and Megan; Amber (Jason) Rynearson and children, Braylan, Braxon, and Breken; Bryan (Sally) Rodocker and daughter Gracey; Jesse (Kylie) Kulp and son Easton; Logan Spanel; and Camarie (Talon) Scott.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry, parents Leona and Robert Widler, and her in-laws, Bud (Floyd) and Wynona Rodocker.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2011, at 2:00 PM in the Halsey Gymnasium with Pastor Linda Martin officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday 8 AM to 8 PM with family greeting friends 6 PM to 7 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Terry and Pam Rodocker Scholarship Fund.
Burial was in the Purdum Cemetery with Govier Brothers Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
