Janice "Jan" Geiser

Merna, NE- Jan Geiser age 70 of Merna died Tuesday May 1, 2012 at St. John’s Care Home in Kearney. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 10:30 AM in Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Reverend Dale Coates officiating and Eastern Star Rites. Burial will be at the Cliff Table Cemetery west of Merna. Visitation will be held on Friday, 10 AM to 8 PM with the family greeting friends 6 PM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Janice “Jan” E. Geiser was born on August 26, 1941 at Broken Bow, NE to Gordon and Lucille (Cook) Payne. She graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1960. Jan was married to Ivan Geiser on August 14, 1960. Survivors include her four daughters: Lori (Brad) Dutton of Alliance, Bonnie (Don) Goodner of Kearney, Cindy (Ron) Goodner of Elm Creek, Deena (James) Gibson of Merna. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ivan, and her sister Reva Burnett.
