Broken Bow, NE – Erma Willenberg age 95 of Broken Bow died Thursday July 19, 2012 at the Custer Care Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 23, 2012 at 10:30 AM in Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Reverend Todd Karges officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday 1 PM to 6 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials have been suggested to the Custer Care Center or the Broken Bow United Methodist Church. Bessie Erma Willenberg was born on March 11, 1917 at Dunning, NE to Elmer R. and Loretta (Rice) Estes. She attended grade school at Lillian and graduated from Gates High School in 1935. On July 16, 1936 she was married to Fred B. Willenberg at Broken Bow. Survivors include her daughter Mary Anne Vik of Noble, OK, two sons, Paul (Donna) Willenberg of Oshkosh, NE, and Bruce (Sharlene) Willenberg of Norman, OK, four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Bill Estes of Anselmo and sister in law Pearl Estes of Cheyenne, WY. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred in 1991, and two brothers Robert and Pete.
