Ralph Shoemaker

Ansley, NE- Ralph Shoemaker age 73 of Ansley, died Wednesday August 29, 2012 at the UNMC in Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Ansley with the Revs. Bill Ragan and Don Schauda officiating. Burial will be in the Box Elder Cemetery at Cumro, NE. Memorials have been established to the family. Visitation will be held on Friday August 31, 2012, 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 6 PM. Ralph E. Shoemaker was born on October 21, 1938 at Cumro, NE to Ross and Hazel (Sorensen) Shoemaker. Ralph attended school at Flat Bottom rural school and graduated from Ansley High School. On December 27, 1964 he was married to Eunice Crawford. Ralph is survived by his wife Eunice of Ansley, a son Eric of Mason City, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Melvin (Arlene) Shoemaker of Kearney, and two sisters Elaine (Norman) Anderson of Broken Bow, and Lois (Cliff) Jameson of Kearney. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Ralph, a brother Eldon Shoemaker, and sister in law Linda Shoemaker.
