Broken Bow, NE- Laddie Kmoch age 61 of Broken Bow died Friday August 31, 2012 at the Callaway District Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Reverend Ralph McKay officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 8 AM to 5 PM, the family will greet friends Wednesday morning 9:30 AM until service time at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the family or the donor’s choice.
Laddie Kmoch was born on March 12, 1951 at Columbus, NE to Laddie and Adeline Kmoch. He graduated from Columbus High School. After his schooling Laddie worked construction and as a heavy equipment operator. Through the years Laddie worked for Paulsens, Arrow Seed, and the last seven years he was employed by the Custer County Highway Department. Laddie was married to Elizabeth “Lu” Heller on February 27, 2003 at Broken Bow.
Laddie loved to garden. He spent many hours cooking and canning his produce. He also enjoyed listening to polka music and spending time with his grandchildren.
Laddie is survived by his wife Elizabeth Kmoch of Broken Bow, sons Nicholas Kmoch of Rising City, NE,and Bo Kmoch of Lincoln, step daughter Nancy Sipes of Broken Bow, two grandchildren Madison and Wyatt Sipes, his mother Adeline Kmoch of Columbus and one brother Gene Kmoch of Grand Island.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Bonnie.
