Broken Bow, NE- Nancy Vohland, age 74 of Broken Bow died Saturday September 22, 2012 at her home in Broken Bow.
A memorial service for Nancy will be held on Saturday September 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Sharon Ruzicka officiating. A register book may be signed at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
Nancy Lee Vohland was born on December 19, 1937; her parents were CA and Doris (Traphagan) Owen. Nancy grew up in Broken Bow and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1955. She attended Hastings College. On September 29, 1957 she was married to Vance Vohland. They made their home in Broken Bow.
Nancy was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She loved to play bridge, and through the years belong to many bridge clubs. Mrs. Vohland was concerned about the care of animals. She liked to study Custer County History. Nancy always enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.
Nancy is survived by her husband Vance of Broken Bow, daughter Susan (Willard) Withers of Colorado Springs, CO, son Dan Vohland of Kearney, daughter Sally (Ron) Leifert of Lincoln, six grandchildren; Caleb and Madison Withers, Brittany Vohland, Lorin, Logan, and Emma Leifert, she is also survived by a sister in law Ann Owen of Broken Bow.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Vohland, and a brother Tom Owen.
