Broken Bow, NE- Don Hill age 81 of Broken Bow died Thursday September 27, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow. Memorial services will be held on Monday October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Rev. Jim Stark officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. A time to visit and greet the family will be held on Sunday 1 PM to 3 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials have been established to the Prairie Pioneer Center or the family. Don was born on February 22, 1931 near Oconto, NE to Carroll and Madge (Heitz) Hill. Don was married to Shirley Plock on July 3,1953 at Broken Bow. Don is survived by his son Al (Ruth) Hill of Broken Bow, grandson Shaun Hill of Broken Bow, sister Donna (Duane) Beck of Oconto, NE, a sister in law Lois Hill and a special uncle Lawrence (Fern) Heitz of Sargent. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley and a brother Duane Hill.
