Dean Horn

Broken Bow, NE- Dean Horn, age 82 of Broken Bow, died Wednesday March 6, 2013 at his home south of Broken Bow, NE. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 11, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Burr Oak Church, south of Broken Bow with Rev. David Harder officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 10, 2013, 1 PM to 6 PM with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 6PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Burr Oak Vacation Bible School. Dean was born on July 19, 1930 at Grand Island, NE to Melvin and Zora (Christy) Horn. He attended Mt. Olive rural school and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1948. He was married to Milrae Thomas on February 4, 1951 at Sumner, Nebraska. Dean is survived by his wife Milrae of Broken Bow, sons; Steve (Jennifer) Horn of Broken Bow and Jeff (Janice) Horn of Lincoln, daughters; Nancy (Mike) Jochum of Beatrice, and Kristi Horn of Broken Bow, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and one brother Gale Horn of Puerto Rico.
