Margaret R. Bradley, age 66, of Brewster, Nebraska died March 15, 2013 at the St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19th, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Visitation will be Monday, March 18th, at Govier Brothers Mortuary 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broken Bow from 5 p.m. to Rosary. Rosary will be Monday March 18th at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Broken Bow.
Burial will be in the Brewster Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Margaret Bradley Scholarship Fund.
Margaret was born January 9, 1947, in Portsmouth, Virginia to Hamilton and Margaret (Lindars) Dwyer. She attended school in Virginia graduating from Portsmouth Catholic High School in 1965. Margaret attended college at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, graduating in 1969. On August 15, 1970, Margaret married Gordon Bradley at the Holy Angels Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. They made their home on a ranch near Brewster, Nebraska
Margaret is survived by her husband Gordon Bradley of Brewster; two daughters Mary (Mike) Tjepkes of Omaha, Nebraska and Cindy (Lee) Benson of Aurora, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Elaine, Connor, Lexi, Kaitlyn, and Gracie; two brothers, Hamilton (Ann) Dwyer of Chesapeake, Virginia and Arthur Dwyer and friend Linda of Suffolk, Virginia; two sisters, Theresa (Paul) Petrill of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Pat Dwyer and friend Peg of Suffolk, Virginia; mother-in-law Maxine Bradley of Brewster; and brother-in-law Ron Thompkins of Lincoln, Nebraska; and eleven nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Hamilton and Margaret; father-in-law Darwin Bradley; infant grandson Bradley; and sister-in-law Janet Thompkins.
