Clyde "Tyke" Calvin Arnold

Clyde “Tyke” C. Arnold, age 76, of Broken Bow, died Friday May 3, 2013, at the Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 7th, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Reverend Jurdan Counts officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday May 6th, 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary with the family greeting friends 7 PM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Diamond Youth Organization PO Box 105, Broken Bow, NE 68822, or the 1st Baptist Church in Broken Bow. Tyke was born on August 16, 1936 to Clyde Arthur and Vava Aleida (Condron) Arnold in Broken Bow, Nebraska. He graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1954. Tyke was married to Karen Russell on October 14, 1956 at the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow. Tyke is survived by his wife Karen of Broken Bow, sons; Clyde “Tyke Jr” (Louise) Arnold, and Russell (Rosemary) Arnold, of Broken Bow, daughters; Angela (Scott) Ripp of Gates, NE, Pamela Gaston of Broken Bow, 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a sister Miche (William) Rowell of Broken Bow.
