Royle Hazen

Royle Dee Hazen, age 68, of Stromsburg, NE (formerly of Milburn, NE) passed away Friday, August 23, 2013, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. The influence of Royle’s life is evident in those he leaves behind. Deb Petsche (Stromsburg, NE), his fiancé, best friend, and love to the end. Harley, his constant companion and cherished, most loyal friend. Four unquestionably head-strong children – Roxanne (Steven) Stowers and two granddaughters, Danielle and Alexandra (Lincoln, NE); Melody Hazen (Chicago, IL); Justin (Christin) Hazen and granddaughter, Mary Grace (Aurora, CO); and Melissa Hazen (Omaha, NE). A sister whom he spent a lifetime lovingly teasing, Darlyne (Bob) Lindly (Anselmo, NE), and many dear family and friends. He is welcomed into his next adventure by those who have preceded him – his parents Marvin and Violet (Fletcher) Hazen, brother Douglas Hazen, and grandparents. Memorial graveside services will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Victoria Springs Cemetery with Pastor Don Schauda officiating. Govier Brothers Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of arrangements.
