Carol Ann Trump age 72 of Broken Bow died December 4, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary with Pastor Andrew Black officiating. Interment will be in the Ord Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association.
Carol was born February 27, 1941 at Elyria, NE to Albert and Anna (Vergin) Kirby.Carol was baptized and confirmed in Bethany Lutheran Church, Carol graduated from North Loup High School in 1958. She then worked for her father on the farm and also took care of nieces and nephews. She met her future husband Everett E. trump at a card game at a relatives home. Carol and Everett were married December 8, 1963 in Bethany Lutheran Church at Ord, NE. To this union they were blessed with three children Lori Marie, Steven Glen and Brian Scott.
Carol was a Day Care provider for thirty years. She loved taking care of children. She collected Cardinals, she loved flowers, baking cookies and cheesecake, Nebraska football and the Green Bay Packers. She never met a stranger. She loved her family and spending time with them and especially her grandchildren Ty, Cody, Kally, Charles and Robert. Carol enetered the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow on December 8, 2011.
Survivors include her husband Everett of Merna, one daughter Lori (Paul) Blakeman of Merna,NE. two sons Brian (Holly) Trump of Ord, NE. and Steve (Benita) Trump of Merriman, NE.Five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Mary Burson and Lila Gross, one brother Kenneth Kirby, one granddaughter Kylie Trump, and niece Karen Gross.
