Ronald Eugene Kranz

Ronald Eugene Kranz age 41 of Oconto died December 7, 2013 near Oconto. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Building in Oconto with Lawrence Francis officiating. Interment will be in the Oconto Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Oconto Fire Dept. or the Oconto Community Building. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Ron was born March 14, 1972 at Rushville, NE to Dwain and Delores (Eckard) Kranz. He grew up at Eddyville on the family farm. He attended schools at Eddyville, Oconto and Platte Valley Academy graduating form Sumner High School in 1991. He attended Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture at Curtis for one year. After his education Ron worked at various feedlots. In recent years he was involved in ranching with his family. In his younger years Ron enjoyed bull riding. Ron enjoyed his dogs especially Casie who went everywhere with him. He liked horses and Red Angus cattle, spending time with family and friends and helping neighbors. Survivors include his parents Dwain and Delores Kranz of Eddyville, one brother Gary (Stephanie) Kranz of Oconto and nieces Heather and Beth Kranz also of Oconto.
