Verla Marie Real

Broken Bow, NE- Verla M. Real, age 81, of Broken Bow, died Thursday December 26, 2013 at her home in Broken Bow. Memorial services will be held on Monday December 30, 2013 at 10:30 AM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Pastor Bob Winn officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Sunday 1 PM to 6 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 6 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Jennie Melham Medical Center or the Lupus Foundation. Verla Marie Real was born on July 1, 1932 at Broken Bow, Nebraska to Henry and Winifred (Pywell) Coble. She graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1950. Verla was married to Harley Real on November 8, 1951. Verla is survived by her daughters; Marcia (Mark) Millage of Castle Rock, CO, and Cathy Real of Broken Bow, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harley in 1984, her son Steve, a brother Charles and a sister Shirley Neth.
