Broken Bow, NE- Darline Daily, age 86 of Broken Bow formerly of Milburn, NE, died Wednesday, January 15, 2104 at her home in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014, at 1:30 PM at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with Rev. Seth Bates officiating. Burial will be in the New Helena Cemetery near Anselmo. A visitation will be held on Friday 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials have been established to the family to be designated at a later date.
Darline Delores Daily was born on July 15, 1927 near Anselmo to Charlie and Agnes (Stithem) Pettis. She graduated from Anselmo High School. On December 31, 1946 she was married to Paul C. Daily at Norton, KS. They made their home near Milburn. Mr. Daily died in 2001.
Darline had a longtime love of playing the piano. She was a member of the Broken Bow 1st Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge, Anselmo VFW Auxiliary, and the Milburn Willing Workers Club.
Darline is survived by her daughters; Bonnie Pulliam of Sargent, Sherry (Duane) Ruh of Kearney, Mindy (Joe) Holley of North Platte, and Paula Daily (and friend Cam Daly) of Broken Bow, twelve grandchildren; Terri (Jeff) Dowling, Derrick (Kasey) Pulliam, Breanne (Nick) Pflang, Angie (Jeff) Cauble, Ryan (Brandi) Holley, Christopher (Deana) Holley, Samuel (Sarah Nichols) Holley, Melissa (Russ) Epperson, Jeffrey (Lana) Burnett, Jonathan (Stacie Vance) Burnett, Michael Burnett, Miranda Dunkel, great grandchildren; Tyler and Nic Dowling, Beylah and August Pulliam, Katie Pflang, Leo and Jessie Cauble, Brittany, Ashlyn, and Caleb Holley, Brooke Holley, Amy Sydow, Sadie, Sophie, Jayden Nichols, Delani and Emma Haines, and Uriah Vance,
Two sisters; Burnice Zierlein of North Platte, and Eula Faye Anderson of Grand Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters; Freida Pettis, and Wilma Mason, and a son in law Ron Pulliam.
