Marguerite Bristol age 91of Ansley died February 5, 2014 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ansley with Rev. Bill Ragan officiating. Interment will be in the Ansley Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Ansley. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements.
Marguerite was born October 28, 1922 in the Happy Hollow Community to Arthur
and Alta Staab. She was united in marriage to Roscoe Bristol on June 4, 1966.
Marguerite taught at many schools in the area including; Happy Hollow, McIntosh, Broken Bow and Ansley. The family lived in the McIntosh District until they retired and moved into Ansley in the late 1990’s.
Marguerite loved music. She played the piano for many years at the church in Ansley. She also enjoyed gardening and her flowers.
Survivors include one brother Orie Staab of Omaha, NE, sister in law Iona Bristol of Burwell, NE, a sister in law Donna Staab of Broken Bow and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe, parents, brothers; Johnnie Walter, Glen, Harvey, Herb, Norm and Bob.
