Jack Bartak

William "Jack" Bartak age 88 of Broken Bow died March 18, 2014 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 26, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Merna with Rev. Ryan Loeslie officiating. Interment will be at the Cliff Table Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, The American Cancer Society or the Custer County Foundation.Survivors include his wife Edythe of Broken Bow. Two sons Bradley (Barbara) Bartak of Merna, Steve Bartak of Ainsworth. Two daughters Marilyn (Tom) Reese of Atlanta, GA. and Marcia (Marvin) Swan of Grant, NE. One sister Phyllis (Keith) Sommer of Merna. Fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
