Patsy Barrett

Patsy Barrett, age 77 of Central City, formerly of Merna, died Friday April 18, 2014 at the Central City Care Center in Central City. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Reverend Todd Karges officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. A register book may be signed at Govier Bros. Mortuary. The family will greet friends Monday evening 6 PM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Patsy Barrett was born on November 27, 1936 to Joy and Beryl (Tooker) Barrett at Merna, Nebraska. She graduated from Merna High School and attended the Grand Island Business School. Patsy is survived by her brothers; John (Kay) Barrett of Omaha and Martin (Rose) Barrett of York, sisters; Arlene Rodriguez of Rolling Hills, CA, Lois (Don) Whiteman of Broken Bow, and Helen (Dick) Strehle of Grand Island. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Virginia, and a brother Frank.
