Donna Staab

Donna L. Staab, age 82 of Broken Bow, NE, passed away on Nov 12, 2014 at Bryan LGH West in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 15, with the family greeting friends 1 PM to 3 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary, and Sunday 1 PM to 6 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow. Memorials are suggested to the Ansley or Broken Bow First Christian Church. Donna L. Staab was born on April 1, 1932 to Arlene Hastings. On June 20, 1954 she was married to Robert Dean Staab, in Ansley. Children include Robert Kim (Kathy) Staab, Jane Ellen (Buck) Mueller, Kelly Lane (Sue) Staab, and Kristopher John (Dolly) Staab. She enjoyed her family and friends, bowling with a very unique windup with every ball thrown, all over the country. She taught school and worked at The Custer County Courthouse before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting and her trusty companion, Deana her Dog!! She is preceded in death by her husband Bob, and a grandson Travis Morice (Staab), numerous brother and sister in laws and grandparents and mother. Survived by her children Robert Kim (Kathy) Staab of Broken Bow, Jane Ellen (Buck)Mueller Gothenburg, Kelly Lane(Sue) Staab of Syracuse, and Kristopher John (Dolly) Staab of Lincoln, NE , 16 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, brother in law Orie Staab of Omaha, and many Friends.
