Broken Bow, NE- Henry Struempler, age 90 of Broken Bow died Friday January 30, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow.
Funeral services will be held on Monday February 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Broken Bow with Reverend Roger Quandt officiating. Burial will be in the Christ Lutheran Cemetery south of Oconto. Visitation will be held on Saturday 5 PM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary and Sunday 3 PM to 8 PM with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 6 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials may be given to the Christ Lutheran Cemetery or the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Broken Bow.
Henry “Hank” C. Struempler was born on April 4, 1924 to Frederick and Minnie (Schwarze) Struempler at Oconto, NE. He was married to Arlene Knispel on April 29, 1945.
Henry is survived by his daughters; Sheryl (Rex) Taylor, Deb (Gail) Rapp, and Lana (Jim) Lymber all of Broken Bow, sisters; Elsie (LeRoy) Cyriacks of Gothenburg, Geraldine (Gary) Mitchell of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Adele (Paul) Chandler of Plymouth, Minnesota, a brother Ronald Struempler of Oconto, NE, sisters-in-laws; Elsie Struempler, Bonnie Struempler, of Broken Bow, Norma Struempler of Callaway, nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Arlene, son Denny, Brothers; William, Herb, Erich, Fritz, Ted, and Gerald, sisters; Edna, Erma, and Lottie, and a grandson Galen Rapp.
