Pamela Gates

Memorial Services for Pamela S. Gates age 62 of Broken Bow, will be held Wednesday June 3rd, 2:00 pm at The Nebraska One Box Convention Center, 2570 S 27th Avenue, Broken Bow Nebraska with Dennis Fiedler officiating. Inurnment will be in the Gates Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include husband Dana of Broken Bow, daughters Dani Salts of Broken Bow and Sara (Jason) Fiedler of Grand Island and a son Jason (Cindy) Gates of Broken Bow; fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren; her mother Marian Anderson of Broken Bow, her father Ray Pierce of West Plains, Missouri; a brother David (Sandy) Pierce of Lebanon, Kentucky; and seven nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her sister Cynthia Pierce. Pamela S. Gates, age 62 of Broken Bow, Nebraska died at her home on May 28, 2015. Pam was born June 19, 1952 in Mountain Grove Missouri to Ray Pierce and Marian (Taylor) Pierce. Pam moved from Tekamah to Broken Bow when she was in the 6th grade. She graduated from Arnold High School in 1970. On November 27, 1971 she married Dana Gates. Born to this union were 2 daughters; Dani and Sara; and one son Jason. As one of Jehovah’s Witness her faith and ministry were important to her. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In 2000, Pam opened the Health Emporium in Broken Bow. She enjoyed helping numerous customers with natural food items. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
