Broken Bow, NE- Dale Baker age 95 Broken Bow, died Wednesday June 24, 2015 at the Medical Center of the Rockies, in Loveland, CO. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 3, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Reverend Todd Karges officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 2, 2015, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with the family greeting friends 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post #126 or the Broken Bow United Methodist Church. Clifford Dale Baker was born on October 11, 1919 at Broken Bow, NE to Ernest and Clara (Loyd) Baker. He graduated from Broken Bow High School. On June 30, 1946 Dale married Ethel Nelsen. They made their home in Broken Bow, Dale is survived by his two daughters Barbara (Ron) Potter of Broken Bow and Nancy Dietrich of Wiggins, CO, and a son Ron Baker of Larned, KS, 8 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, and a sister Leona McCaslin of Broken Bow. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ethel, two brothers; Alvin and Elwood, and a sister Dorothy Daugherty.
