Ron Lizer

Merna, NE- Ronald Lizer age 52 of Merna, NE died Wednesday August 26, 2015 at his home in Merna. Graveside services will be held on Monday August 31, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Merna Cemetery with Chaplain Michael Freitag officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery with Military Honors. A visitation will be held on Sunday August 30, 1 PM to 5 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials may be given to the family. Ronald P. Lizer was born on January 3, 1963 to Don and Marcine (Schneller) Lizer at Kearney, NE. He graduated from Lexington High School. In 1982 Ron joined the US Marine Corps and served until 1987. After his military service Ron worked various jobs in the area. Ron is survived by his mother Marcine Bice of Merna, NE, and his brothers Robert, Charles, and Mike. He was preceded in death by his brother John.
