Kenneth Leroy Bergstrom, age 89, of Broken Bow, Ne., formerly of Merna, Nebraska died Sunday October 4, 2015 at the Off Broadway Apartments in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Friday October 9th, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Church of Christ in Broken Bow, with Reverend Caleb Sampson officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery with Military rites. Visitation will be Thursday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with family present 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Off Broadway Apartments or Asera care Hospice. Kenneth is survives by his wife Arlene Bergstrom of Broken Bow, Ne., 5 children Nickey Lynn Bergstrom of Burwell, Karen Sue Noles of Polson, Montana, Jerry A. (Mary) Bergstrom of Johnson Lake, Ne., Calvin Lee Bergstrom of Hot Springs, S.D., and Nancy K. (Joel) Anderson of Seattle, Wa. 4 grandchildren, a sister Berry Haskins Cambridge, Mn., 1 brother Nels Bergstrom of Owatonna, Mn. and step mother Norma Bergstom of Eagle Bend, Mn. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois, and three brothers Don, Roger, and Jimmy.
