Jeanette Bower, age 56, of Arcadia, Nebraska died Saturday October 24, 2015 at her home in Arcadia, Ne.
Funeral services will be held Friday October 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Dr. Jeff Hale officiating. Visitation will be Thursday October 29, 2015 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the family, and may be sent to 355 East Rounds, Arcadia, NE 68815. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeanette Marie Bower was born on April 29, 1959 at Lincoln, NE to Donald and Mildred (Molitor) Koughn. She lived in various locations growing up and graduated from high school in Arizona. On July 20, 1996 she was married to Buddy Bower at Denver, CO. The family then moved to Arcadia, NE.
Jeanette enjoyed gardening, the pond in her yard, the frogs and koi fish. She was a great cook and enjoyed making salsa.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Buddy of Arcadia, a son Kyle Bower of Arcadia, 3 daughters; Katie Bower of Arcadia, Tara Cantor of Denver, CO, and Tracy Green of Lincoln, four grandchildren, two brothers; Donnie Koughn of Castle Rock, CO, Joe Koughn of Arizona, two sisters; Angie McKinney of California and Anna May of Arizona. Other survivors include her mother in law Kathy Pflaster of Eddyville, many brother and sisters in laws, special friends; Andy and Diane Anderson of Colorado and Jamie Dodge of Grand Island.
