Rex E. Myers

Broken Bow, NE- Rex E. Myers, age 88, died Monday November 23, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 27, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Lillian Church of Christ, north of Broken Bow with Pastor Roger Sloan officiating. Burial will be in the Lillian Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2015, 8 AM to 8 PM with the family greeting friends 5 PM to 7 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Lillian Church of Christ. Rex is survived by his wife Joan Myers of Broken Bow, Ne., two sons Lonnie Myers of Gordon, Ne. and Rick (Melissa) Myers of Broken Bow, and a daughter Connie Jo (David) Hardy of Downs, Ks. 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a sister Phyllis (Bill) Bigbee of Broken Bow, Ne. Rex was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ruth. Rex Myers was born December 20, 1926 in Lillian, Nebraska to James M. and Esther H. (Swick) Myers.
