Merna, Nebraska – Michael Dan McAlevy, age 59 died Monday from a trailer house fire in Merna, NE. Memorials services will be held on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the United Methodist Church in Merna with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the family. A register book may be signed at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Michael Dan McAlevy was born on February 7, 1957 to Luther and Leona (Parkhurst) McAlevy. He was married to Kimberly Wilcox. Michael is survived by his wife Kimberly of Merna, his children; Maria McAlevy, Michael McAlevy, Michelle McAlevy, Daniel McAlevy, Luther McAlevy, and Andy McAlevy. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four sisters; Marie Granger, Retta Beals, Linda Runningbear, and Merna McAlevy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Joseph, and a brother Lonnie.
