Joanne Hardy, age 82, of Anselmo died Thursday May 19th 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held Monday May 23, 2016 at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow at 10 a.m. with Reverend Bill Williams officiating. Burial will be in the New Helena Cemetery near Victoria Springs. Visitation will be Sunday May 22nd at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow from 1 to 6 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials may be offered to the Anselmo United Methodist Church or to the family to be designated at a later date. Joanne is survived by her husband Albert Hardy of Anselmo, Ne. son Jim (Elizabeth) Hardy of Hastings, Ne. daughter Nancy Hardy of Anselmo, Ne. and daughter-in-law Becky Hardy of Ainsworth, Ne., 3 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother Bob (Darlyne) Lindly of Anselmo, and sister-in-law Helen Lindly of Anselmo, Ne. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Jerry, and 1 brother Harold. Joanne Hardy was born April 29, 1934 in Anselmo, Nebraska to Lloyd and Leona (Doman) Lindly. She married Albert Hardy May 29, 1955. They lived the majority of their lives near Anselmo.
