Omaha, NE – Christopher Paul John age 47 of Omaha, formerly of Broken Bow died June 14, 2016 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Omaha. Funeral services will be held Monday June 20th 2016 at 1 p.m. in Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Rev. Marty Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Douglas Grove Cemetery near Comstock. Visitation will be Sunday June 19th 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with the family receiving friends 4 PM to 6 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Christopher Paul John was born on March 13, 1969 at Denver, CO to Paul and Virginia “Ginny” (Clarke) John. The family moved to Comstock, Ne. Chris attended school at Comstock, Ord and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1987. Chris lived in various places through the years. The last 10 years he and his wife Erin have lived in Omaha. Chris lived life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends, motorcycles, music, cars, boating and traveling. Chris loved meeting people and didn’t know a stranger. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help his friends and would drop everything to lend a hand. There wasn’t any project Chris wouldn’t tackle. If he didn’t know how to do something, he would teach himself and do it expertly. Chris loved to laugh and make others laugh. He will be deeply missed by everyone whose life he touched. Christopher John is survived by his wife Erin Freeman John of Omaha, Ne, his parents Paul and Ginny John of Broken Bow, Ne., and a sister Laura J. (Joe) Christensen; his nephew and niece; Clark and Daphne Christensen all of Huntsville, Alabama, and a host of family and friends.
