Daniel Joe Gottschalk

Daniel J. Gottschalk, age 68 of Harlingen, TX, passed away on the morning of June 29, 2016 peacefully at his summer residence at Sherman Reservoir in Loup City, NE. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Govier Bros. Mortuary in Broken Bow with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. A reception will be held at the Broken Bow Country Club, after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Valley County Health System Hospice Care, or the charity or organizations dedicated to supporting our Veterans. Dan is survived by his wife, Patricia of Sherman Lake, his daughter Cari Ann of Carter Lake, IA, his son Kyle of Omaha, his grandson Jaxson, his brothers; Bud (Diane) Gottschalk, KC (Marita) Gottschalk and his sister Kay (Gary ) Fenton all of Broken Bow. Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
