Sheri E. Jones age 58 of Eddyville, died Sunday August 7, 2016 at the CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Services will be held on Thursday August 11, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday 9 AM to 4 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary. Visitation will continue Wednesday evening 5 PM to 7 PM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church where the family will be greeting friends. A Christian Wake service will be held at 7 PM, Wednesday evening at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Sheri was born June 20th, 1958 in Broken Bow, NE to Leo and Patty Ryan. She grew up in Mason City and graduated from Ansley High School in 1976. Sheri then went on to attend Kearney State College and graduated. On November, 26th, 1982 she was united in marriage to Dan Jones and they had 6 children. Sheri and Dan initially lived in Sumner, NE until they moved north of town to the farm where they have resided since. Sheri enjoyed working with young children and coaching middle school and high school athletes. She was a regular attendee of Ryan family reunions and enjoyed spending time with her large family at various family events. Sheri most cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Dan Jones, her children, Tara Edwardson and Russ Shaw of Grand Island; Scott and Jody Jones of Amherst; Timmeree and Aaron Gadeken of Neligh; Jeremy Jones of Eddyville; Staci and J.J. Pedersen of Grand Island; Halie Jones and fiancée Jace Hemenway of Kearney; grandchildren, Brayden and Caleb Edwardson; Kobe and Kyler Jones; Carson Jones, Aiden Kuester, Bryson and Jaycee Gadeken; Breckyn and Hadley Jones; Kinley and Graysen Pedersen, her brothers, Ed, Maurice, Tom, Randy, Bob, Mike, Steve, Lynn, and Scott Ryan, her sister, Lori Call and many nieces, nephews and other family.
