Penny Trew

Penny Lee Trew, age 62, of Culbertson, Nebraska died Tuesday August 30th at her home in Culbertson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 3rd 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow, Ne. with Rev. Todd Karges officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday Sept 2nd, 2016 at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family greeting friends 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be offered to the family for later designation. Penny was born October 15, 1953 in Loup City, Nebraska to Richard and Arlene (Schmidt) Franzen. Penny attented Arcadia School in her younger years and later Broken Bow High School. Surviviors include her mother Arlene Franzen, of Broken Bow, Ne. son Dustin and significant other Amanda Trew, of Culbertson, Ne. a daughter Lori Trew of Culbertson, 7 grandchildren Samantha Tafoya of North Platte, Ne., Nicholas Tafoya, of Culbertson, Ne. Jonathan Griffin of Colby Ks. Phillip Hillis of Colby, Ks. Ashton Hillis of Colby, Ks. Christian Hillis of Colby, Ks. and Zoey Hillis of Culbertson, Ne. A brother Randy (Dian) Franzen of Broken Bow, Ne, a sister Patty (Marc) Harpham of McCook, Ne. numerous nieces, and nephews. Penny was preceded in death by her Father Richard, brother Frankie, and sister Peggy.
