James J. Rempe, age 65 of Oconto died Saturday October 15, 2016 at the CHI Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney   Funeral services will be held Monday October 24, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Oconto, Nebraska with Father Jim Novakowski officiating. Burial will be in the Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Military Rites.  Visitation will be Sunday October 23rd 1 pm to 6 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with family present from 4 to 6 p.m.  Memorials may be made to Oconto Volunteer Fire and Rescue Unit.
