Slingsby, Travis, age 15, of Broken Bow, Nebraska died October 22, 2009 as a result of a traffic accident on Highway 2, east of Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 25 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ansley High School Gymnasium with Rev. Mel Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in theWesterville Cemetery at Westerville, Ne. Visitation will be Saturday Oct 24th 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Travis Slingsby was born November 19th, 1993 in Broken Bow, NE. to Dean and Mary Jo (Vose) Slingsby. He was a student at Ansley High School and involved in many school activities. Travis is survived by his parents Dean and Mary Jo Slingsby of Broken Bow; one brother Taylor Slingsby of Broken Bow; three sisters Jessie (Chris) Watts of Kearney, Ashley (Josh) Vaughn of Lincoln and Darcey (Selvin) Mendez of Lincoln;
