Lois Bristol

Ansley, NE- Lois C. Bristol age 89 of Ansley died Tuesday November 24, 2009 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Saturday November 28, 2009 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow with Father Jim Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Ansley Cemetery with Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Friday November 27, 8 AM to 5 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary with a Christian Wake service to be held at 7 PM Friday evening at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Broken Bow. Memorials have been suggested to the Custer Care Center, Heritage Hall Nursing Home or the Bristol Family Scholarship Fund. Lois was born November 2, 1920 at David City, NE to Louis T. and Mary Rosetta (Delaney) Welte. Lois attended rural grade schools and graduated from Ansley High School in 1937. On June 13, 1949 she was married to Leonard Bristol of Ansley. Lois is survived by her son Lance Bristol of Ansley and her daughter Lanette (Terry) Doane of Ansley and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard in 2007, four brothers and five sisters.
