Randy Gail Clay, age 49, of Broken Bow died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Custer Heights in Broken Bow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow with Pastor Glen Emert officiating. Visitation will be held at Govier Brothers Mortuary on Wednesday, December 30 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Broken Bow Cemetery. Memorial are suggested to Broken Bow Ambulance Service or Custer Heights. Randy Clay was born January 17, 1960 to Gail Jr. and Janet (Hohlfeld) Clay in Broken Bow, NE. Randy began school in Broken Bow and then transferred to Callaway Public School. He graduated from Callaway High School in 1978 with honors. Randy attended college in Lincoln. He also attended a Tech college in Denver. Randy was diagnosed with diabetes at age of 13. He never let the disease slow him down as he traveled overseas and to several states. He worked in Los Angeles and Denver. Randy was married to Maria Parks in Denver. They later divorced. Randy came back to Broken Bow and worked several years until he was no longer able to. Randy was a staunch Cardinal fan, but loved all sports. He made many friends on his computer, and especially liked fantasy football. He loved life and will be remembered for his teasing ways. He is survived by his parents, Gail Jr. and Janet, one brother, Corey and (Kim) Clay of Broken Bow and nieces and nephews.
