Jasper Slagle

Jasper E. Slagle age 67, of Springdale, Arkansas died Thursday February 18, 2010 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born September 30, 1942 in Sargent, NE to Jasper and Rozena Fricke Slagle, Sr. He graduated from Comstock High School. He was married to Mary Slagle on November 17, 1963. Survivors include his wife Mary of Springdale, AR, a son John (Debra) Slagle of St. Charles, MO, two daughters Krista (Sid) Deans of Pea Ridge, AR, and Melissa Slagle of Elkins, AR, brother William (Diane) of St. Libory, NE, sisters Twila (Rex) Donalson of Hildreth, NE and Lila Day of St. Libory, NE , four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father Alvin Hughes, three sons Paul Jay Slagle, David Dean Slagle and Daniel Dale Slagle, and one sister Wilma Miller. Graveside services will be held Wednesday February 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Rev. Charlie Foster officiating. Memorials have been established to the First Baptist Church, World Missions, 1709 Johnson Road, Springdale, AR 72765. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of arrangements.
