Barbara Klooz

Barbara Jo Klooz, age 51, of Sargent, Nebraska died Monday March 1, 2010 at her residence in Sargent. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6th at 2 p.m. in the Evangelical Free Church in Sargent, Ne. with Pastor Jerry White, and Pastor Gary Thieme officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery at Sargent. Memorials may be made to Barbara’s family and will be contributed to Voice of the Martyrs. Visitation will be Thursday March 4th 8 Am to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary and Friday March 5th 3 PM to 6 PM at the Evangelical Free Church in Sargent. Govier Brothers Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Barbara Jo Quincy was born October 10, 1958 in Lancaster, Wisconsin to Guerdon and Jeanette (McFall) Quincy. She graduated from Platteville Wisconsin High School in 1976. From 1978 to 1980 she attended Central Christian College at McPherson, Kansas and received her Associate of Arts in Interior Design. In 1980, Barbara married Robert Klooz in Platteville, Wisconsin they made their home at Sargent, Ne. Survivors include her mother Jeanette of Platteville, Wisconsin. Husband Bob Klooz of Sargent, Ne. 3 daughters Bobbie Jo (Jacob) Kaufman of McPherson, Kansas, Amy Marie (Joel) Connor of Sargent, Ne., and Carri Jo Klooz of Sargent, Ne., 2 sons Justin Robert (Claire) Klooz of McPherson, Kansas, and Jonathan Daniel Klooz of Sargent, Ne.. Three grandchildren Saige Kaufman, and Micah and Doran Connor. Sisters Carol D’Josey of Broken Bow, Ne. Peg (Tim) Polodna of Platteville, WI, a brother Stan (Phylis) Quincy of Platteville, WI. Step father Daryl Campbell of Platteville, WI., Mother-in-law Darlene Klooz of Sargent, Ne. Brothers and sisters in law, Jim and Velda Klooz, Roger and Judy Klooz, and Marvin and Linda Houston. Along with many cousins and other relatives. Barbara was preceded in death by her father Guerdon in 1968.
