Broken Bow, NE- Jane Riggs age 67 of Broken Bow formerly of Dunning died Tuesday March 2, 2010 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Funeral services will be held Friday March 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the United Methodist Church in Broken Bow with Rev. Glen Emert and Rev. Tim Pearson officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery. Govier Bros. Mortuary of Broken Bow is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday 8 AM to 8 PM at Govier Bros. Mortuary with the family greeting friends 6 PM to 7 PM. Jane was born On November 13, 1942 to Floyd and Virginia (Guildner) Hart at Holyoke, CO. She was married to Dale Riggs on December 26, 1962. Jane is survived by her son Daniel (Carolyn) Riggs of North Platte, NE, daughters Stacy (Tom) Widler of Seward, and Teia Springer of Burwell, six grandchildren, and sisters Diane (Bill) Wehling of Broken Bow, Kathy (Walt) Daily of Bullhead City, AZ, and Donna (RJ) Arndt of Juniata, NE and sister in law Kay (Lloyd) Anderson of Dunning. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dale.
