George Joseph Love, age 67 of Bloomington, Ne. formerly of Mason City, Ne. died March 4, 2010 at his home in Bloomington. Funeral services will be Thursday March 11, at 2 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow, Ne. with Rev. Victor Crawford officiating. Burial will be in the Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday March10th 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow. George was born March 31, 1942 in Westerville, Ne. to Charlie and Iona (Tobey) Love. He was a life-long truck driver. He loved his family and all the friends he met on the open road. Even in his retirement George kept his CDL license and continued to help farmers and others, when they would need a driver. George is survived by his eight children, Angela Payne and friend Shane Houchin of Gothenburg, Ne, Lana and husband (Chad) Stephens of Orleans, Ne. Stacy and husband (Carey) Danker of Ansley, Ne., Gregory Love and friend Kari Ann Stieb of Lexington, Ne., Amber Love and friend Marcus Cureton, of Paragould, Arkansas, Joyce Smith of Paragould, Arkansas, Francis Smith of Grand Island, Ne., and Niles Timm of Houston, Texas. 10 grandchildren; Chelsa and Eric Payne, Coltin, Lucus, and Joshua Stephens, Keimauri and Shakira Brown, Chantal Lee, Tren Danker, and Laylie Love. And and Aunt Catherine Knittle of Wilcox, Ne. George was preceded in death by his parents, and 3 grandchildren.
