Florencio “Frank” M. Nova, age 78 of Merna, Ne. died March 25 2010 in Anselmo, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Monday March 29th at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Broken Bow with Pastor Scott Harvey officiating. Burial will be in the Broken Bow Cemetery with Military rites. Visitation will be Sunday March 28th at Govier Brothers Mortuary in Broken Bow from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Optimist Youth Program, or Good Samaritan Hospice. Florencio “Frank” Nova was born January 2, 1932 in Jackson, Minnesota to Isaac and Rose (Appleton) Nova. His early education was in the Kearney, Ne. area. Frank served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict. Frank Nova is survived by his wife Charlene Nova of Merna, Ne., three daughters Susan (Bud) Eberle of Broken Bow, Ne., Cynthia (Jim) Adams of Anselmo, Ne., and Carmen (Pat) Keslar of Hyannis, Ne. One son David (Mary) Nova of Kearney, Ne. Two step daughters Shiela Brown of Curtis, Ne. and Honey Lynn Burman of Broken Bow. 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, Three brothers Junior Saldivar, of Liberty Lake, Wa, Albert Saldavar of Oregon, and Eddie Saldivar of Incino, Ca., two sisters Pauline Goody of Denver, Co., and Lupe Carrenza of Kearney, Ne. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
